CHARLES DENIES ACCUSATIONS CHINESE WORKERS IMPROPERLY I...
Grenada's top labor official has disputed accusations that the government improperly issued work permits to Chinese workers for private sector projects. Minister Claris Charles said Chinese laborers have only been authorized to work on state projects, including a Beijing-funded cricket stadium completed earlier this year, since Grenada switched diplomatic allegiance from Taiwan to China in 2005. "I have to give approval for all work permits since I became minister for labor, so I know what is going on," Charles said Saturday. "We have no Chinese (workers) in the private construction sector; those that are here are for state jobs." Reprinted from guardian.com

CHARLES DENIES ACCUSATIONS CHINESE WORKERS IMPROPERLY I...
I know Grenadian contractors who short change the work by using cheap materials after the making the prospective home owner pay for the materials. This in no way mean the chinese will do a better job we know what we have let us stick to it instead of quickly jumping ship. The chinese working in the private sector is bad business because they will be more than willing to take less money than the locals making it impossible for local contractors to get good paying jobs for which they qualify.

I do no see any thing wrong with the Chineses working in the private sectors. The Chineses will do a better job than the local. The locals are quick to take your money, and never completed your job
