Grenada's Tourism Minister, Clarice Modeste-Curwen, has expressed her reservations that Liat has become the only carrier of its type in the eastern Caribbean. The island hopping carrier this month completed the buyout of its principal rival, Caribbean Star. Mrs Modeste-Curwen said tourism in the Caribbean will not improve until something is done about increasing airlift.
