INSIDE GRENADA WEDNESDAY December 19, 2007 From the New National Party (NNP) ST.GEORGE'S: In a brief ceremony held on Friday December 14th at the New National Party's head- quarters, Deputy Political leader, Hon. Gregory Bowen, representing the Prime Minister and Political leader of the New National Party (NNP), Dr. the RT Hon. Keith Mitchell (who was at the time unable to attend due to illness), distributed hampers totaling a value of approximately EC$6,000 to some 50 persons, namely, the elderly and needy folks from various constituencies. The recipients of the hampers were most thankful for the kind gesture displayed by the New National Party for yet another year. Hon. Gregory Bowen assured the recipients that the New National Party is a party that cares, and the Party intends to continue with its hamper distribution for many years to come. Immediately following the distribution of the hampers, the recipients were treated to some light refreshments which were provided by the Management, Staff and Executive Members of the New National Party. The New National Party takes this opportunity to wish one and all a Merry Christmas and a bright and prosperous New Year.
