The Ministry of Education is pleased to announce a proposed visit by representatives from MidWestern State University (MWSU) and Stephen F. Austin University, both based in Texas, USA. On February 8, 2008, these representatives will meet with prospective and interested students in an open forum to provide information on their various programmes and incentives to Grenadian students. Past students will also be on hand to answer questions. For the past 15 years, Grenadian and Caribbean students have been excelling in the MWSU scholarship programme which provides students with a partial waiver on tuition fees. Stephen F. Austin offers a similar waiver to students as well. Interested persons are invited to attend the forum to take advantage of the opportunities offered by these universities.
