INSIDE GRENADA MARCH 03, 2008 from the New National Party (NNP) Sunday March 2nd, 2008: New National Party Representative for the Town of St. George, Honorable Brenda Hood wishes to express her heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of 24 year old Anthony Gilbert of Darbeau, St. George's who tragically lost his life on Saturday March 1st, 2008. Minister Hood who spent some time on Saturday night comforting the family members of Anthony said "I would like to reiterate the plea made by the Commissioner of Police a few days ago where he asked the people of our great nation to exercise patience, restraint, and a greater sense of reasoning in settling disputes and altercations" Anthony died after receiving fatal chop wounds during an altercation between himself and his brother Nicholas Gilbert, who later turned himself in to the Police.. Residents of Darbeau and surrounding areas remain in mourning following this unfortunate incident.
