INSIDE GRENADA MARCH 16, 2008 by Wallace J.A After running her personal indoor best in the 400M sometime last month, Grenadian born athlete, Trish Bartholomew, has again made the athletic news and continues to stand out in her athletic accomplishments. Sometime last month, Trish Bartholomew – a student of the University of Alabama - was able to run and win the 400M in a blistering NCAA provisional time of 53.87 seconds. She later led the Alabama female relay team to victory in the 4x400 with a time of 3:45.38. Now, only about one month later, Trish has established a new record in the 400M at the University of Alabama, running the event in an impressive 52.10 secs. The old record of 52.69 secs was held by Kou Luogon. Grenadian Connection wishes Trish Bartholomew all the best as she continues to grow from strength to strength.
