DMJ Creative announces the first annual “Made In Grenada: The Celebrity Football Game”, to take place on Friday May 2nd at the Tanteen Playing Field. The Football Game will feature a group of well- known personalities from the Entertainment Industry versus an all-star cast of ex-national football players. In addition to the Game, the afternoon will feature entertainment from the Suzuki Junior Pan Wizards, appearances by Vecour and Shortknee bands, a special presentation by the Grenada Mas Band Association and live performances by top calypsonians and soca artistes. Additional features of “Made In Grenada: The Celebrity Football Game”, includes a special Rum Bar by Westerhall Rum, local food (Bake and saltfish, fishcake, lambie and fish waters and much more). All the action starts at 4pm on Friday May 2nd and admission is $10. The Game will be 11-a-side, each team will feature 21 players and players will be allowed to substitute themselves at their own discretion to avoid over-exertion and to provide ample opportunity for everyone to sufficiently showcase their skill. The Made In Grenada concept was developed and successfully launched in 2002 to provide good, clean fun with a heavy emphasis on things and persons Grenadian, the Celebrity Football Match is an extension of that undertaking and we look forward to further enhancing and showcasing all things Grenadian.
