Inside Grenada Sunday April 20, 2008 by Osborne Baptiste Fellow Grenadian, at home and abroad: visitors, brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus: For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect, Mt. 24: 5 & 24. Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you not sparing the flock. Ac.20:28 & 29. Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus: Isaiah the prophet was shown the condition of the Church in these last days when he wrote: The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinances, broken the everlasting covenant. Is.24:5. Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus: Sometimes I wonder, that if you have rejected the authentic word of God, what are the slim possibilities of you accepting my testimony? Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus: The Church today is almost dysfunctional; and few saved, because of false teachers and false prophets. The pastors of these churches have usurped authority when they declared, that in the "Gifts of Administration" as given by the Holy Ghost in 1 Co.12: 28. & Ep.4:11. does not exists in its entity today; except in the case of the pastor: I will like believers to know that any such teachings from anybody; is deception; and that anyone that teaches that any of these gifts, does not exists today is deceived. The church is weak and without power, because the basic and fundamental principles for the establishment of a, "Holy Ghost Teacher" has been destroyed by false teachers and false prophets. You better take this seriously; because the gifts of the Holy Ghost which fall into three categories are the framework for the constitution of God's Holy words. They are: (a) Gifts of the spirit. 1Co.12: 1 – 10. (b) Gifts of administration. 1Co.12: 28 & Ep.4:11. and (c) The fruit of the spirit. Ga.5: 22 & 23. As for the fruit of the spirit, let me remind you, that one does not just stay like that and get holy; it is a gift from the Holy Ghost; and remember all perfect gifts comes from above. Brothers and sisters in Christ: It is my understanding in my walk with God, according to his word: is that we obey instructions, until we are told to do otherwise. Today we cannot add, or take away from the word of God. I have reminded you of these things, because I believe in the truth of the gospel, and I believe in the power of the word of God, I also know that God cannot work with lies, or deception. You are without power and experience with God; because you are deceived. Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus: The Lord hath said unto me: "that at the coming of the Lord Jesus, a fire shall go forth before him consuming the wicked, but it shall not hurt the righteous." (Read Is. 3: 10 & 11. Ps 50: 3 – 5. & Ps. 97: 3.) The Lord also said unto me more than fifteen years ago that: "this country will not go forward unless it repents; and that something will happen to set it back all the time, unless it repents."
