NDC TO HOLD YOUTH FEST AT UNION PLAYING FIELD TOMORROW
ST. ANDREW’S, April 26, 2008 - The main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), headed by Opposition Leader Mr. Tillman Thomas, is expected to hold a youth fest tomorrow (Sunday April 27, 2008) at the Union Playing Field in St. Andrew’s. The event is organized by the youth arm of the party and is carded to commence at 10:00 a.m. Activities planned for the day include 20/20 cricket, indoor games like dominoes, monopoly, snakes and ladders among others. There will also be music and cultural entertainment from various artistes. The NDC youth fest comes exactly one week after the youth arm of the ruling NEW National Party (NNP) staged a massive youth convention and rally at the Fond Recreation Ground in the parish of St. Patrick. The gathering at that function was estimated to be in excess of 18,000 persons. A number of local and regional artistes performed at that function. By Wallace J.A Inside Grenada Correspondent

I wish the youth well. I trust that a lot of thought and planning went into organizing this venture and I hope that there will be no glitches.
