Wednesday May 7th 2008, St. George’s: Prime Minister, Dr. the Right Hon. Keith Mitchell, yesterday expressed his condolences to the Leader of the Opposition, Hon. Tillman Thomas, over the passing of his mother. While speaking at an event at the St. George’s University last evening, Prime Minister Mitchell said he would contact the Opposition Leader to express his sympathy personally. The Prime Minister noted that losing a close family member or friend is always extremely difficult and he urged Grenadians to pray for the Opposition Leader and his family.

What nonsense are you getting at Mary? It's people like you that cause a whole set of unnecessary political strife and bickering in the country. This is a time of mourning; can you for Pete's sake get off this narrow-minded, myopic, political charade? Some people just don't seem to know when to draw the blasted line!!!

this message from keith mitchell is politically motivated I am not buying it. I will sincerly like to send my condolences to the gentleman Mr tillman thomas and his relatives
no motives whatsover. there are other people who the priminister could extend condolences to in grenada there is a lot of death announcements by laqua famalies who have lost love one. What he aiming at.
