Lawyers for embattled banker, Finton De Bourg, say they intend to appeal the million dollar bail granted to their client yesterday after he appeared in a court on fraud related charges.
Acting Chief Magistrate Jerry Seales granted the EC$1 million (US$370,000) bail to De Bourg, the chief executive officer of Capital Bank International (CBI), who is facing four counts of fraudulent breach of trust totalling more than EC$18 million (US$6.8 million).
He was arrested last weekend following an investigation by the Financial Intelligence Unit of the Royal Grenada Police Force.

THIS IS THE CAP BANK SCENARIO There was a woman who went to Nursing school.She completed all the university courses,but did not obtain a license from the state she wanted to work. She had a friend who was the chairman of medicine in a hospital.The credentialing board rejected her application to work in the hospital,but her friend/the chairman told her,"I am your diret boss,you can still work as a nurse.While you are working,you will pass your board,but no one could fire you,I AM YOUR BOSS".That nurse worked for almost 10 years.That chairman change from medicine to obstetrics and back to medicine.The nurse killed a patient,the family wants the nurse investigated.The same chairman is distancing himself from the nurse and got a lawyer to investigate this nurse.The even tell the family that he will ask the hospital permission to give them maney for compensation.
