LOCAL LAWMEN WARN THE PUBLIC ABOUT COUNTERFEIT EC $$$$$...
GRENADA, May 20, 2008 - Royal Grenada Police Force advises that there are quantities of counterfeit Eastern Caribbean dollar bills being circulated. It has been brought to the attention of the Criminal Investigation Department that persons are circulating counterfeit EC $100 bills with the serial # D 475075 G. Persons circulate these counterfeit bills in crowded, busy shopping places and poorly lit areas, such as night clubs and party places. The RGPF is urging persons to exercise caution, if in doubt, do not accept the bills. If you have bills in your possession with the mentioned serial number you are advised to contact the nearest Commercial Bank or Police Station. Any one found with counterfeit bills in their possession, distributing or trying to distribute same, will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The general public is advised to be extremely careful when conducting any form of business involving direct cash transactions. Businesses and venders are specially advised to be guided accordingly. LOCAL LAWMEN WARN THE PUBLIC ABOUT COUNTERFEIT EC $$$$$...
If the CEO of the Capital Bank could get away with robbing poor Grenadians of their hard earned money, what do we expect. When theives are brought into our country to represent us they set the trend for all kind of racketeering. Besides we harbor too many foreign criminals in our once peaceful, and unspoiled little country. We open the doors for all kinds of criminal activities.
