Grenada's electoral officials confirmed on Wednesday that voters would not be allowed to carry cell phones into the polling booths when they go to elect a new government on July 8. Elections Supervisor Nordica McIntyre said the devise would be banned because it could be used to influence voters. The Election Office also plans to launch a campaign aimed at educating voters on the measures to be adopted on Election Day.
