ANOTHER TRAFFIC FATALITY RECORDED  
ST. GEORGE'S:- Officers of the Traffic and the Criminal Investigation Departments are conducting an investigation into a vehicular accident that led to the death of Peter Baker of Belmont in St. George’s. The accident occurred around 10.45 pm on Monday 9th June 2007, along the Calivigny Public Road in St. George’s. A body was found on the scene of the accident, and was later examined by a medical practitioner who lives in the area, who confirmed his death. An individual, who identified himself as the brother of the deceased, identified the body as Peter Baker, and informed the investigating officers on the scene, that Peter was in his early forties and was employed as a mechanic. The cause and/or circumstances that led to the accident are still to be determined. A blue Daewoo vehicle registration PG 123 was found on its hood, and is believed to be involved in the accident. A post mortem is expected to be conducted today, Tuesday 10th June 2008 to determine the cause of death. Officers of the South Police Station are continuing their investigation.
