Grenada is investigating complaints about inaccurate voter registration rolls and pre-election violence.
Elections commission supervisor Nordica McIntyre says she has received complaints that names were removed from the rolls and that voters were allowed to register after the June 2 deadline.
McIntyre met yesterday with the main opposition party, National Democratic Congress, about its concerns.
The meeting was called after the NDC made allegations of illegal registration leading up to the July 8 election.
Last week, the elections supervisor denied that there was any illegal or secret registration of voters taking place at constituency offices.
Police also say they will increase their presence at political rallies. Supporters of opposing parties have been seriously injured in recent fights.
