The Peoples Labour Movement (PLM) of Dr. Francis Alexis and the Grenada United Labour Party (GULP) of Mr. Reynold Benjamin, have merged together to form a Labour Platform to contest the General Elections in Grenada scheduled to take place on July 08, 2008. The Executive of the Labour Platform comprises Mr. Wilfred Hayes (President), Mr. Reynold Benjamin (Chairman), Dr. Francis Alexis (Campaign Leader), Mr. Collin Francis (General Secretary) and Ms. Gillian Lewis (Public Relations Officer). THOMAS, Garvin Mr., St. Andrew South East The STAR is the symbol that will represent the Labour Platform on the ballot paper come July 08, 2008. The Labour Platform is offering itself to the voting population as a viable alternative to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of Mr. Tillman Thomas and the New National Party (NNP) of Dr. Keith Mitchell.
