Members of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Eastern Division are conducting investigations into the death of Kelly Collins a 36 year old resident of Coals Gap in St. David. A body later identified to be that of Collins was discovered in a slightly bushy area in Bay Road, La Tante, St. David around 7.45 this morning Monday 7th July 2008. Officers from the St. David Police Station responded to the report along with Dr. Layne, District Medical Practitioner, who later determined the person was dead. A single laceration was inflicted to the neck of the deceased. A post mortem is expected to be conducted today to determine the cause of death.
