TO THE POLLS WE GO!
Grenada's two main political parties are hoping that the majority of the more than 80,000 registered voters will favour them to form the next government when they go to the polls today. Forty candidates are contesting the 15 parliamentary seats in the election. Prime Minister Keith Mitchell says he expects his New National Party (NNP) to be re-elected based on its record in government. He is also banking on the youth vote to help the NNP win. He says the administration's handling of the reconstruction effort following hurricanes and youth development programmes undertaken by his government should put them in good stead with the electorate. Meanwhile, leader of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Tillman Thomas, has suggested that the NNP has an undemocratic plan to remain in office and likened Dr. Keith Mitchell to Zimbabwe's president Robert Mugabe. Referring to a government decision to ban motorcades ahead of Tuesday's general election, Mr. Thomas described Dr. Mitchell as high handed and undemocratic. Polling stations are open for 11 hours and will close at 5 pm. Reprinted from radioja.com

What make someone experience and what make someone a leader? If this the reason for keeping keith Mitchell then unless an employer creates a new position ,there is no need for school because the EXPERIENCE person should stay in any position. What was KEITH MITCHELL like when he first became Prime Minister. Is he as good as now? Then devon and emmalin should not run.IT TAKES MORE THAN EXPERIENCE TO BE A LEADER

There is a saying becareful what we pray for .. At this time I certainly hope our prayers are being answered and we accept what we get and no more complaints .. Time for us to settle down and stop being so blind as only the Blind can't see what is/has been done to our Beautiful Land..We all want to return .
