GOVERNMENT FINDING IT HARD TO MEET MONTHLY EXPENSES
click
According to a news item appearing in a BBC report, Grenada’s new Minister of Finance, Hon. Nazim Burke, has warned that the new government may not be able to meet its monthly expenses, including paying public servants. The Finance Minister, who has been in the position for approximately six weeks, was quoted as saying that the country’s finance are in “an absolute mess.” The estimated monthly budget for the new administration is US$21 million while revenue is estimated at US$14 million. The new National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration, led by Prime Minister Tillman Thomas, won the July 08 general elections in Grenada, replacing the New National Party (NNP) administration of Dr. Keith Mitchell, after spending 13 years in opposition.

well well now we know why the nnp so much wanted to get back is it because they and their croonies left the safe empty these matter should be investigated and if these people is found to be wanting they should be made to answer it is high time that whichever government that was in power, when they left they should be made accountable for any wrong doing and not let the poor taxpayer foot the bill or suffer so come on NDC remember we wanted CHANGE so lets see some CHANGES.
