OPPOSITION LEADER WRITES TO PRIME MINISTER THOMAS
Leader of the opposition the Rt. Hon. Dr. Keith Mitchell has written to Prime Minister Tillman Thomas bringing to his attention his concerns about the number of persons who are being affected by harsh decisions of his Government. In his letter Dr. Mitchell made reference to a physically challenged woman with children who has been removed from the Public Assistance List and a number of persons who have been dismissed from their jobs on very short notice and in a very unprofessional manner. Dr. Mitchell said his heart goes out to the persons involved and their families and calls on the Prime Minister to look into this matter and to live up to their stated position while in opposition that there must be no victimization nor marginalization of persons because of their perceived political affiliation. OPPOSITION LEADER WRITES TO PRIME MINISTER THOMAS

I wish that we would stop dividing the people of our beloved land along the lines of the political parties that they support. We are one people and in many cases if you check our family trees you would see that we are related. We must also remember that we all have contributions to make towards the building of this country of ours. I think that all forums should be used to promote reconciliation, justice and equality for all Grenadians. I am not condoning the behaviour of the Keith Mitchell administration, however we must let justice take it course. We also have to convert the die hard NNP supporters to our side in order to ensure that victimization or the perception of that does not continue to fester in our society.

Hi Karen i am so sorry you feel this way and you know what, it seems to me that these NNP people just cant take the fact that they are in opposition it seems that their gravy train has stoped now that the nnp is in opposition. My dear karen this new government needs people in its work place who can be trusted no matter what their politics is and if they are being sacked because of their political stance yes thats wrong but can you say that the last nnp government did not operate such a policy come on karen did you at any time did a check on the road works gangs during the nnp reign to find any other persons working except nnp people so please do not accuse me of not doing my research i was responding to the headline comments on this site, and the comment by HM LEADER of the opposition.

I dont know what type of childhood KCM had.He appears like a child who lacked attention and threw tantrums to get what he wanted.I blame the press of Grenada for allowing the man to go on so much.KCM seem to forget he was in power for 13 L O O O O N G years and has left a very bad legacy in mind of the majority of grenadians except those he used to give $100 every week.He has too much time on his hands, its time the AG arrest him and keep him busy in HMP with his orange overall
