Officers of the Criminal Investigation Department are conducting an investigation into the death of Candis Langainge a resident of Grand Anse Valley in St. George’s. Officers responded to a report around 7.00 pm on Monday 25th August that led then to the lifeless body of the 20 year old mother of one. The body was later examined by Dr. Byron Calliste, medical practitioner for the district, who confirmed her death. Langainge shared a residence with a male companion and her daughter. The cause and/or circumstances that led to her death are still to be determined. A post mortem would be conducted today, Tuesday 26th August 2008 to determine the cause of death.
