The Embassy of Grenada to Cuba has confirmed that Grenadian students in Cuba are safe following the passage of Hurricane Gustav, which affected certain parts of the island. Reports say the students were evacuated to safe areas before the passage of the hurricane. The Embassy also stated that some students were able to start classes yesterday, September 1, 2008.
