Registration for the 2008 GCIC (Grenada Chamber of Industry and Commerce) Intersector netball competition, scheduled to commence on Saturday October 18, is presently in progress. The deadline for registration is October 03, 2008. Registration forms can be collected from any GNA member by calling 457-2343, 538-8624 or Mrs. Patsy Dragon on 440-2937. The registration fee for this year’s competition is EC$175 per team. Upon registering, teams will be provided with a copy of the rules for this year’s competition. The Grenada Netball Association has taken on the responsibility for providing referees for this year’s tournament and so - teams will no longer be saddled with this responsibility as was the case in previous years. Winners of each zone along with the second place winners will receive prizes and there will also be a play off between the winners of the two zones so that an overall winner can emerge from the Tournament. Other prizes will be offered in the usual categories such as Bosses Shoot Out, Best Team on Parade, Team with Most Crowd Support etc. Teams are reminded to only register players associated with the company they will represent as is the rule of the Tournament.
