OPEN LETTER TO THE NDC EXECUTIVE
Letter to the Editor: Dear Comrades, I am concerned about the recent events related to the First International Bank of Grenada. I was convinced when Mr. Wildman was arrested that there was something in the matter. But when I listened to the US Embassy representative on GBN news I wondered if this arrest had nothing to do with politics. Mrs Karen Jo Mc Isaac said clearly that the case was closed, and that the Government of Grenada had assisted with the investigation which led to the successful conviction of the criminals involved. She also said the FBI did not think there was anything left hanging out there. My question is, if the FBI is satisfied, why isn't the NDC satisfied? Im beginning to get turned off, by this type of behavior, where people’s character is being destroyed for the sake of politics. Im not a supporter of NNP but I know Mr. Wildman very well. This isn't the kind of change I voted for. I call on the NDC to please give up your obsession with Keith Mitchell and the NNP, before it destroys the gains so many of us worked so hard to achieve. We the people were giving you a second chance, to right their wrongs, to put people first – not to go acting like the PRG again. I didn't want my Government to change so the high offices of this nation could be used to persecute and victimize people. I have relatives and close friends that are strong NNP supporters. Its time we unite. Don't forget we can eat you out, drink you out and throw you out just as easy as we did the last Government. Simply Stated Inside Grenada News

OPEN LETTER TO THE NDC EXECUTIVE
hello simple stated re your letter to the grenada today dated 9/10/08 as much as i agrees with some of your comments i find it had to think that as a person who seems to know mr wildman and as you said that was not what you had voted for (change) then tell me how the hell will we have changes if we dont as a country change all thoes nasty habits that we have for example when in government party recklessly spend the peoples money on any clap trap no brain ideas they also hire every mouth piece who can shout the loudest they spend the peoples money as if it was theirs with no accountability and them they get booted out of office and the new incoming government just sit back and do nothing, sorry mr simple stated the people of spice isles voted for changes and that means to be seen to be transparent and accountable to the people and in doing so if any one is found to have broken the law they should be investigated and taken to court as a lesson to all, there is no other way this is how it is done in the more advance countries and we should be following by law.

This comment were very well put together. It also stikes me that the author seems to speak from the vantage point of sincerity and love for his country. It shows that Grenadians are not as stupid and gullible as people in some quarters tend to think. We will neither be fooled nor taken for a ride. The new administration must know that we are watching their actions, and are watching them quite keenly.
