Badness out Of Style – Grenada, A component of the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Culture and Sports' Rehabilitation Programme, has been helping young people in the country make positive lifestyle changes and become role models to other young people for the past four years. On Wednesday, some participants of the programme along with Project Officer with responsibility for the Youth Rehabilitation Programme, Ms. Jenner Charles, made a visit to the inmates at Her Majesty's Prison. The participants were enthusiastic about talking to the inmates as they listened to their concerns and hardships, and in turn, encouraging them to change their lives and take advantage of the many programmes that promote self development that are offered by the prison. The prisoners commended the young men on the changes that they have made and are using them as persons they would like to model. The prison visit is the first of many visits and projects to be undertaken by the BOS participants outlined in their September calendar of events. They are expected to visit the Dorothy Hopkin Centre to help with their kitchen Garden on Saturday September 13th, the General Hospital, the Father Maligan Home for Boys among others.
