GRENADA:- The media fraternity in the Spice Island, as well as the wider population, today mourns the passing away of Mr. Errol Maitland – a local businessman and owner of the Informer Newspaper, Meaningful Television of Grenada (MTV), Voice of Grenada (VOG) – a local FM station; a car rental operation, a local cinema and other business concerns inside Grenada. Mr. Maitland passed away last night (Wednesday September 24) at the General Hospital in St. George’s after a brief illness. Grenadian Connection wishes to extend its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Maitland. He was definitely a trailblazer in the field of media work and he will be greatly missed.
