RGPF TO ESTABLISH DEPARTMENT OF AUDIT, RESEARCH AND DEV...
A department of Audit, Research and Development is to be established within the Royal Grenada Police Force. The primary function of the department is to audit and regulate all operational functions of the Force, ensuring consistency with policy guidelines and procedures. The department would also influence development and improvement in the overall quality of service delivered by the Force through in-depth research and effective management controls. The department would be headed by Superintendent Jessmon Prince, former head of the Immigration Department. An Anti Corruption Unit will also form part of the Audit department, with a specific mandate to urgently respond to and eventually eliminate all forms of corruption and misconduct from within the ranks of the Royal Grenada Police Force. This unit will closely monitor the handling court exhibits including monies and drugs, and establish a conduit through which members of the public aggrieved by Police Officers can seek redress and appropriate action. The Department will become fully operational by November 1st 2008. Meanwhile, divisional and departmental heads have taken up their new postings within the R.G.P.F. See listed. Superintendent Dunbar Belfon - Central Division Superintendent Floyd Dragon - Western Division Superintendent Trevor Modeste – Northern District Assistant Superintendent Damion Lee – Traffic Department Inspector Brian Parks – Special Branch Inside Grenada News

Audit and Police Force eh doing nuten. Dey just like Mitchel and unfortunately this new goverment. After someone has stolen and made all those raunchy deals, this whole dam new goverment just sit on their backsides instead of letting all these people get away with all this stolen land deal. Yeah the deal was all legal says Peter David. How the hell you could have property sold in exchange for one race drivers Bio. and name, and no money for Grenada, and then dey go to President Bush and beg for more money. Maybe I should write President Bush and tell him doe give Tillman Thomas a dam thing. Who knows, maybe Tillman may have been on the deal with Mitchel and the race driver too. Its time to set the path straight and set an example with Mitchel and all this land deal, so the next thief will not entertain these thoughts. We need to make an example of, Mitchel, Antoine, the Governor General and many others.

I am very proud of the new COP for the work he is doing within the RGPF. He is highly commended by me.I know of people within the Force who do not even know how to write a Report, because from the time he/she joins the Force he/she remains in the same position, and I'm talking about 35yr's and counting. time to remove their sorry BUTTS. Continue the good job CLARKIe xcop.

The creation of an Audit and Anti-corruption Unit within the Royal Grenada Police Force is a step in the right direction. There are senior officers in the force whose fingers are too long and time after time they thief and get away with it. The new commissioner has been part of this phenomenon for years. For example, Police Week, Police Canteen, Police Children Christmas Party, Police Welfare and all other areas where monies are involved. Year after year it is the same people who are in charge of these monies. At the end of it, there is no account of these transactions. I do hope that these new units are not a way of covering up for these thieves. It is very shameful that these practices has been going on for years, and trust me it will continue.
