It has been brought to the attention of the Energy Division of the Ministry of Finance that some retailers are currently selling the 20lb cylinder of cooking gas above the approved price of $43.81. Consumers are herby reminded that since May 12, 2008, there has bee NO CHANGE in the price of 20lb cylinders. This price will remain in effect until a price change is officially announced by Government. Retailers found engaging in the practice of over pricing the product will be prosecuted by law. The Energy Division has been monitoring the price of Petroleum Products on the international market and will shortly be required to adjust prices.
