The structure for these programs were already there. The past government had offices for people to go and give their names and collect forms to participate in training programs for which a monetary incentive was given. As for the book program, the past tgov't had books that were rented out to the families of parents who couldn't afford to purchase them, but in exssence, most people came and got their free books. So, these are not 'new changes' as Gabe will like to suggest, but a continuation of what was already there. I am not condemning the new government for doing that - I applaud them, because they see the merit in such programs and see the need to have them continued!

This government came in on the ticket of change and so far some of the things that they have done sounds good to me for example the idea of this new ministry of works outreach offices where our out of work people can enroll and seek some sort of employment has got to be good providing that it is maintained and the office is functional and productive and also the selection process is done on the principle that its not who you know but what they can do for you because too often for example when road works is being handed out (in the past) its always who you know and which political party you support that gets you the job so lets hope that the Changes we voted for begins here,And another thing it is nice to see that ministers are now taking responsibilty of their own ministry when dealing with issues which affect their ministry, because like in the case of the previous government whenever there was any issue for talk /discussion the man who you always see on tv or hear on the radio, well nearly everytime is not the minister responsible but the prime minister one KCM so it is good to see that these ministers in person representing their ministry and is held accountable is this another Change i see, if so it is long overdue grenadians we are moving forward one love.
