MEMBER OF THE GOVERNMENT WARN AGAINST USING THE NAME O...
click
Sen. the Hon Devon Rache says he is appalled and shocked that a member of the Government will warn against using the name of God in Parliament. According to Sen Rache, members of the Government side have previously laughed and jeered at his references to God, but this time he was interrupted by Sen Arley Gill who was seeking the support of the President of the House to prevent him from referring to God at the last sitting of the Senate. According to Sen Rache if the behaviour of Sen. Gill represents the Governments views, then we can be going down a dangerous road as a nation. Speaking on the decision of the Minister for Health to resign from his position as a Pastor, Sen Rache said it is unfortunate that Pastor Hood would have misled persons during the election to believe that it was not necessary to resign, since he got a calling from God to perform in his position as pastor and as a politician. The young Senator believes that it is those kinds of actions that further erode the confidence that the public has in politicians. Inside Grenada News

This is Grenada, NOT the USA!!! There is absolutely nothing wrong with someone who in the process of making decisions chose to use his faith as a guide. He firmly believes in God and Biblical teachings and he uses this as a standard to make his decisions. It is always a scary feeling when arrogance, naivity and intolerance shows its ugly head and seeks to stifle moral deliberations. Rachae enjoys freedom of expression and conscience as every other Grenadian. The person who tried to silence the name of God was one who helped promote many 'gospel concerts' during the buildup to elections baxk in July. It is strange to see how quickly God is given the boot out the door. And Hangman, please don't use a so-called wrong to justify your position. Your argument will be fundamentally flawed because you have built it on faulsehood.

CHURCH AND STATE SHOULD BE SEPERATE.I MEMEMBER A COMISSIONER OF POLICE THAT USED HIS OFFICE AS A PULPIT,EITHER YOU WERE WITH HIM OR AGAINST HIM.POLICE OFFICERS GOT PROMOTED BECAUSE THEY WENT TO CHURCH WITH HIM ON SUNDAYS.THAT WAS SO SICK,THAT WAS THE LOWEST OF THE LOW.THERE ARE DIFFRENT GODS PEOPLE PRAY TO AND DIFFRENT RELIGIONS.TAX PAYERS MONEY SHOULD NOT BE USED TO SUPPORT ONE GOD OVER THE OTHER. SOME PEOPLE DONOT BELIEVE IN GOD.SO PLEASE STOP THIS NONSENSE AND DO THE WORK OF THE PEOPLE.
