Dear Sir,
I wish to inform you that due to prior engagements, I will be unable to attend the special sitting of Parliament for the swearing in of the new Governor General.
Please note that I had previously scheduled a business engagement, in anticipation that the ceremony would have been on November 19th.2008. It must be noted that until the 18th of November, when the event was postponed, I did not get an official invitation.
It must also be noted, that as it relates to the ceremony to be held tomorrow, November 27th 2008, I only received an invitation on November 25th. I must also inform you that two other members of the Opposition were not able to receive invitations to this activity as they have been out of the island.
I wish to again express my concern that sittings of Parliament are being arranged without any consultation with the Opposition as was done in the past. The Parliament consist of both Government and Opposition members and we were all elected to represent our various constituencies.
I therefore wish that consideration will be given to this concern, so that this situation can be avoided in the future.

OPPOSITION LEADER'S LETTER TO THE CLERK OF PARLIAMENT
Dear mr editor in response to the letter from hm leader of the opposition re the budget debate and the reasons why he was unable to attend, sir i asked these taxing questions did hm leader of the opposition inform the clerk of hm government who was his stand in deputy while he was away and is this not the way it should have been done or is there an internal fight within the opposition and again i ask how come three of the opposition members was away at such an important time do i smell the removal of HM OPPOSITION LEADER one MR kcm.and another thing who is this young blood who keeps going on day in day out on the radio they say he is a senator for the opposition please tell me, was he elected and does his mum know that he spends a lot of time on the radio, K C M or BOLA had better watch him.
