“And now there is no pastor in government.” Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus: I have repeated this article for the benefit of the Skeptics, or unbelievers, who would have first read it on Friday 30th May, 2008, on the Informer. Having the results of the US and Grenadian elections at hand, it should now be clearer, to everyone, whether or not my criticism of the actions, of those pastors in the USA or in Grenada: who made political decisions; or entered into politics, were justified. As I have said before; win or loose, God sent none of these pastors into politics, with the unsaved man. ‘Breaking News’ as they call it these days: is that there is now no pastor in Government; because as I have said before: God sent none. Fellow Grenadian: visitors, brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus: For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God, and the Lord hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto thy himself, above all the nations that are above the earth. De.14: 2. And now brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus: Let us see what the Lord said to the New Testament Church. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:1Pe.2: 9. Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus: Those of you that have been following these articles carefully, may recollect that recently, I had criticize a pastor for joining the N D C. as a political candidate. No sooner had this been done, when another young pastor from the same assembly joined the NNP as another candidate. The first pastor claimed that it was the will of God that he should do this; and that he had the blessings of his Bishop. I now again say unto these two men that God knows nothing about your decisions to enter into politics, and neither did He send you, and neither could He. Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus: The recent political blunders, by the world’s two most famous television-evangelist; in the person of Rev. John Hagee and Rev. Rod Parsley, who endorsed Senator John Mc Cain’s candidacy, and the subsequent rejection of those two endorsement by the Senator,( The rejection of their endorsement was done by MC Cain, on the 22nd May 2008) is a startling reminder by God to the church that we should stay clear, of the unsaved man, who calls himself a politician; and should not help them to get into power because this is not the will of God for the Church of Jesus Christ. Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus: God did not send them to do what they did, and this is a living example to show that we do have to be very careful; about blindly following pastors who either do not understand the word of God, or believe that they are so big, that they can do any thing; and then God will just then fit in. Two accusations were leveled at Pastor Hagee. (1) In that he said that the Catholic Church was the great whore, and (2) that the Nazis were sent by God to persecute the Jews. He later apologized to the Catholic Church, and to Senator Mc Cain for making those remarks. His congregation would have been obviously confounded, and amazed, since he had quoted scriptures to confirm the above. Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness; in the land of up rightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the Lord.Is.26:10. Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus: One would have taught; that men like pastor Hagee and Pastor Parsley; would have consulted the Lord before making such a decision. On the other hand there should not have been any form of consultation on this matter: since these men should have known; by the scriptures that God cannot build up the very things; that he has vowed to destroy. Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus: The Lord exposed them, to show the church; that there actions were not his will for the body of Christ. Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus: The unsaved leaders in this world are, presently holding the nations; or the kingdoms of this world for satan. There will be a war between the forces of darkness and the Lord Jesus Christ to take back the earth from the hands of these wicked rulers. He is not coming to shake hands with them: he is coming to kill them, and to gaol them. (Read Re.6: 15,16,& 17. also Is.24: 21,22, & 23. also read Zec.Ch.14): Then and only then; when this battle is worn, will the fulfillment of this scripture be completed. And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; And he shall reign for ever and ever.
