CHRISTMAS GREETINGS FROM THE STAFF OF INSIDE GRENADA
click
GRENADA, December 25, 2008 - It is Christmas time again, that time of year when we celebrate the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. As a result, Christmas time is a period associated with love, joy, happiness and merry-making. The staff of Inside Grenada wishes to embrace this opportunity to wish all our viewers a very blessed, safe and fun-filled season and hope that we will not get so caught-up in the festivities that we forget the true reason for the celebration - Jesus Christ. The Inside Grenada Staff also wishes to remind our viewers that we are in the middle of a global economic recession which can impact very harshly on our pocket books and wallets. We need to exercise caution with our spending and clearly establish our priorities. It is not so much what we buy or how much we spend for the season that matters, but the love we share and the friendships that we repair and build that truly matters. In the final analysis, it is what comes forth from within us that counts! We need to be also concerned about our eating and drinking habits throughout this season, especially those of us who suffer from diabetes, obesity and hypertension. We need to monitor our salt and calorie intake and limit the amount of sugar we allow to enter our system. We need to also go easy on the red meats and spicy foods. We have to be mindful of the fact that we need to continue exercising and working out in order to maintain our fitness level. Remember, when the season is over, we still want to be healthy and continue to live vigorous, productive lives. Those of us who love parties need to also try and ‘play it safe’ at all times. If we should decide to consume alcoholic drinks and beverages, let us make sure that we have a designated, drunk-free driver to do the driving. Please, let us not drink and drive. Also, let us make every effort to avoid conflicts and unnecessary confrontations because they often lead to consequences that we live to regret afterwards. In short, let us all try to make the very best decision possible in every circumstance. Let us all work towards making this season a special one - a time for loving, giving, sharing and building the essential bridges of friendship that will last a lifetime. May God bless you abundantly. MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone! INSIDE GRENADA NEWS
