KAYMAR JORDAN FLIES IN FOR SUNDAY’S ANNUAL MEDIA AWARDS...  
Experienced Caribbean journalist Kaymar Jordan flew into Grenada around 10.30 Saturday night ahead of the third annual media awards ceremony. Jordan, the head of News at the Barbados based Caribbean Media Corporation, is to deliver the keynote address at the function that honours outstanding media work. She will speak on the theme, the media an institution in Government, also the theme of the evening during the event at the Grenadian by Rex Resorts. Jordan is a tri media journalist who has excelled in Radio, Television and Print and has covered the Caribbean extensively. “ I have not seen Grenada in a while I want to travel around the place Sunday morning” declared Jordon as she pulled out of the Point Salines International Airport in the company of Nicole Best, Vice president of the Media Workers Association (MWAG). MWAG members say the stage is now set for a memorable function in which a number of media workers/institutions will receive awards of excellence for their work, while others will receive merit awards. Homage will also be paid to two longstanding media workers who have served the industry well over the years. The Governor General Carlye Glean and Prime Minister Tillman Thomas are among top officials who have confirmed their participation in Sunday’s media awards. INSIDE GRENADA NEWS
