The Peoples’ Republic of China yesterday provided ten Million dollars to the Grenadian government. This money is earmarked for economic and technical development initiatives. During the signing of documents yesterday the Chinese ambassador to Grenada, His Excellency Zhang Wan Hai pledged China’s continued support towards the economic development of Grenada in spite of the numerous challenges that his country is facing at this time. Grenada’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Peter David, thanked the Chinese ambassador for the assistance provided by the Chinese government towards assisting Grenada in its economic development and helping his government to deliver on some of the campaign promises that were made to the Grenadian people during the run-up to general elections in June of this year.
