DISTURBANCE ABOARD SKYSERVICE AIRLINES FORCE LANDING IN...
click
Although reports reaching this news desk are somewhat sketchy at this time, it is believed that Skyservice Airlines Flight 828 was forced to make an emergency landing at Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic after a disturbance onboard caused by one of the passengers. The flight left Grenada and was on its way to Canada after stopping off at the Grantly Adams Airport in Barbados. It is believed that that after leaving Barbados, an apparently claustrophobic passenger became agitated and attempted to open the plane door while the plane was in mid flight. The passenger had to be restrained by others on board the airline. The crew landed the plane in Santo Domingo and had to await the arrival of a Canadian Air Marshall. The ‘disorderly passenger’ was taken into local custody. The remaining passengers were expected to spend the night at Punta Cana and are expected to arrive in Toronto, Canada today.
