GRENADA, Friday January 16, 2009 – Local lawmen are believed to have detained three men to assist them in their investigation of the possible murder of Ms. Alexandrina Loretta Cape, a 76 year old woman who resided in an area of Grand Bras known as Ford. Ms Cape body was discovered on Tuesday afternoon close to her home with what resembled chop wounds to her head and hand. She was rushed to the Princess Alice Hospital at Mirabeau where she was pronounced dead. If foul play is confirmed in this unfortunate incident, it will be the first homicide in Grenada for 2009. It is believed that one of the men who is assisting the police with their investigation into the incident is a close relative of the deceased. No charges have been leveled against anyone at this time but the Inside Grenada news team is continuing to monitor this case very closely. The staff of Inside Grenada News wishes to extend its deepest condolences to the family and relatives of Ms Alexandrina Cape. May her soul rest in peace. INSIDE GRENADA NEWS
