Caracas January 19, 2009: Grenadian born nationals and their descendants will join with Grenadians around the world to celebrate the Nations thirty-fifth (35th) Anniversary of Independence under the national theme: ´´Celebrating 35 years of Grenadianism´´. The planning committee has proposed the following activities: January 31 – Independence Flag-Raising Ceremony January 31 – Interfaith Thanksgiving Independence Church Service February 4 – Games/Cultural Evening February 6 – Open House at the Embassy February 7 - Panteon Nacional [Official Ceremony] February 7 – Cocktail Reception The photos from our Independence activities will be available on our website www.grenadaembassycaracas.org so you too will be able to view our Celebrations.
