The New National Party extends congratulations to the Government and people of Grenada and the Government and people of the People’s Republic of China, on the observance of the 4th year of the resumption of Diplomatic Relations between China and Grenada. The NNP also wishes to recognize the visionary leadership of the former Prime Minister Dr. The Rt. Hon Keith Mitchell and the NNP administration, and the bold decision taken to renew the relations with China. Although the decision taken was vehemently opposed by the NDC, it appears that they are now convinced that it was a decision in the best interest of the people of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique. The NNP supports the mutual relationship which exists between both countries and offers best wishes for continued friendship that will bring further mutual benefits to the people of Grenada and the people of China.
