EJ-Communications in collaboration with True Blue Bay Resort (TBBR) will be staging a one day Customer Service orientation programme for Immigration Officers of the Royal Grenada Police Force on Saturday 24th January, 2009 at the True Blue Bay Resort in True Blue, St. George’s between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. It will be held under the theme: “Motivation for better results”. The session was deemed necessary in order to polish the people-skills of Immigration Officers as they endeavour to deliver top quality customer service to locals as well as visitors to our shores. Mr. Russ Fielden, Owner/Manager of True Blue Bay Resort and current President of the Grenada Hotel & Tourism Association (GHTA), readily consented to partner with EJ Communications to make this a reality. Eddie Frederick, a longstanding regional certified hospitality trainer and human resource development practitioner designed the programme which he will also facilitate. Mr. Frederick has worked widely within the region under the auspices of a European Union funded Caribbean Tourism Organisation (CTO) Tourism Development Programme and has otherwise served many private and public sector entities locally, regionally and internationally. ASP Godfrey Fleming – Officer in Charge of the Immigration Department was quick to take up the public offer Mr. Frederick made to him during a recent interview on his “Feel the Pulse” drive-time radio programme aired on VOG FM between 4 and 5 p.m. daily. Mr. James Clarkeson, QPM - Commissioner of Police is expected to declare the session open while his Deputy – Mr. Franklin Redhead will deliver closing remarks upon completion of the programme.
