It is believed that two persons have been detained by local law officials to assist them in their investigation of an incident which took place at the Amazura Nightclub on Friday last week. Reports are that there was a scuffle between a lawman and a civilian which culminated in a gunshot being fired. The Amazura Nightclub located in Sauteurs, St. Patrick’s, is a very popular venue for persons seeking entertainment. The center has been in existence for just over a year and it is the first time that an incident of this nature has occurred there. The owner of the entertainment center, Mr. Darius, sought to allay the concerns of the public in an interview with a local media house by informing patrons that the incident was unfortunate and that the safety of persons at his business has always been and will continue to be an area of top priority.
