GRENADA HORTICULTURE SOCIETY'S HELD IMPRESSIVE EXHIBIT  
ST GEORGE’S, Grenada, Feb. 3rd (GIS) - The Grenada Trade Centre in Grand Anse, St. George's, was transformed into a spectacle over the weekend, as flower growers and decorators turned out to showcase and highlight their creativity. Among the exhibits at the Grenada Horticulture Society's show were herbs, agricultural products, aquariums and orchids. Participants in the bi-annual event showcased their creative designs in twelve categories, which delighted Ms. Gemma Flemming, President of the Horticulture Society. "We are delighted at the turn out today (Saturday), the quality of the plants is top, and the variety is great. We had numerous entries today, plus we had a different exhibit coming on shore also the boot sections is very busy at this time. We are very, very, happy". Apart from the floral exhibitions, there was also a garden aspect to the competition. It provided an opportunity for showcasing backyard and flower gardens. Prizes were awarded to several winners, highlighted by a top award to a submission from inmates at Her Majesty's Prison at Richmond Hill. They were crowned winners of the Dry Flower Competition.
