CARRIACOU CRICKETERS PARTICIPATE IN TRAINING SESSIONS F...

Three young cricketers from Carriacou , Derrick Quashie from Hillsborough Secondary School and Curtly Charles and Jeremy Fraser from Bishop’s College have been selected to participate in training sessions for selection on Grenada’s national under 19 cricket team. Their selection is In keeping with government’s thrust to ensure Carriacou and Petite Martinique are not left out of the holistic development of sports. Their participation has been made possible by the Division of Sports in the Ministry of Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs, Ministry of Sports in conjunction with the Carriacou Cricket Association and the Grenada Cricket Association. It is hoped that this will boost the development of cricket on the sister island. The under 19 games is carded to take place in April on the mainland.
