GRENADA - The 2009 Margaret Dowe Netball Tournament closed on Sunday March 15, 2009 after providing six weeks of great entertainment to the River Road Community. The Tournament which was organized by the ADM Queens Park Rangers Netball Team to honor Mrs. Margaret Dowe, founder of netball in River Road, saw new friendships being created and old ones being renewed. Below are the presentations that were made to the teams: • Most Determined Team - North West Combined • Team with best Team Spirit - Town United • Most Improved Team - Mt. Rush Blazers • Most Disciplined Team - AGD Tempe United • March Pass winners - River Road Jetstars • Knockout Champions - River Road Jetstars • 3rd Place - Down de Road Super Strikers • 2nd Place - Darbeau Rookies • 1st Place - River Road Jetstars A special thank you to all who assisted in making this tournament such a good one.
