ST. GEORGE’S, March 27, 2009 – The National Democratic Congress wishes to express condolences to Mrs. Ceilia Bullen and family on the passing of diplomat, G.R.E. Bullen. Mr. Bullen, who was affectionately known as Mario, served Grenada and the countries of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) with distinction and professionalism. During his long diplomatic career, Mario Bullen was accredited to more than a dozen countries, including stints as the Ottawa-based OECS High Commissioner to Canada and also as Grenada’s High Commissioner in Brussels. “All of us in Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique should be proud of the contributions Marion Bullen made to our nation and the region,’’ said NDC Public Relations Officer Ann Peters. “His death is an extreme sad loss for his family, Grenada and the OECS.
