All patrons, and taxis and tour operators are hereby notified that the Gouyave Fish Friday Festival will not be operated on Good Friday; that is: Friday, April 10th, 2009. In keeping with traditions, and taking into consideration the religious background of the streets forming the festival’s location, the managing committee had taken the decision - from inception - that Fish Friday will not be operated on Good Friday. Please note that Fish Friday will recommence from the following Friday, April 17th, 2009 and continue each and every Friday after that for the rest of the year.
