PUBLIC OFFICERS IN CARRIACOU & PETITE MARTINIQUE TO UND...  
Hillsborough, May 8th- Public Officers in Carriacou and Petite Martinique will be engaged in one week of training. It will focus on the public service rules and regulations, financial management and the the Public Financial Act 2007. This training comes as the Ministry of Carriacou & Petite Martinique Affairs, lead by Senator the Hon. George Prime , seeks to improve the level of service it provides to the citizens of the sister islands. Other areas of focus will include dress and deportment in the public service, procedure for having a second job, confidentiality and the three branches of government. The training starts on Monday May 11th with an official opening ceremony at 9:00 am and ends on Friday 15th, at the Resource Centre in Hillsborough. Mrs. Marilyn Austin- Cadore, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Culture and Sports and Mr. Gary Walters, Senior Auditor, Department of Audit will conduct the training.
