The Grenada Netball Association’s national tournament continues to generate much excitement and interest among players as well as spectators. Over the weekend, Hood Shylight came from being behind to beat St. Paul’s Sports Club 24 goals to 21 goals. New Hampshire B defeated La Source 39-27 and Secondary Schools defeated Police 65-20. On Tuesday May 12, ADM Queen’s Park Rangers A got the better of New Hampshire A, defeating them 66-20. Arley Gill Fun City recorded their first win in the tournament when they defeated St. Josephs Convent A (45-39). ADM Queens Park Rangers B continued their winning streak by defeating St. Paul's Sports club (45-28) while La Source defeated Nurses (41-32). Games will continue on Thursday May 14, 2009 with ADM Queens Park Rangers B coming up against Hood Shylight at 4:30pm in Tanteen. Aces Combined will come up against Secondary Schools at 6pm in Tanteen, Police will take on Arley Gill Fun City at 4:30pm in Gouyave and New Hampshire Strikers A will play against Shamrock at 4:30pm in St. Patrick.
