Hillsborough, June 10th-The L'Esterre R.C School and Harvey Vale Government School in Carriacou are in celebratory mood after two of their students placed in the first 60 in this year's Common Entrance Exams.
Topping the performance for Carriacou was L'Esterre R.C student Joann Lambert who placed 16th in the state with an average of 127.03. Lambert attributed her performance to the support of her parents, teachers and God.
Her teacher, Lyandra Stiell said she was not surprised at her performance since she has always been a focused student.
Leron Gabriel from Harvey Vale Government placed fifty-second with an average of 123.40.
A total of one hundred and twelve students from Carriacou & Petite Martinique sat this year's exams.
