In collaboration with the Grenada Consulate in New York, a new umbrella organization was instituted. The new organization consists of approximately fifty organizations from Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique, interested businesses and individuals from the Tri-state area. This signifies a new and important day for all Grenadian nationals. The name of the organization: GRENCAP United The derivation of GRENCAP United: Gren represents Grenada, CA-represents Carriacou, and P represents Petite Martinique. The three intertwining circles of the logo epitomize “Unity”. The white dove symbolizes Peace and Love, and the olive branch with the seven leaves epitomize the six parishes and Carriacou and Petite Martinique. The colors of the circles are red, green and gold which are our national colors. The objective of the umbrella organization is to act as a vehicle for the welfare and advancement of the people of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique. GRENCAP United will facilitate the needs of the organizations here in the New York Metropolitan area. Our Mission Statements are as follows: 1.
